AULA F75 review: the keyboard that feels like a much smarter buy than expected

The AULA F75 is the kind of keyboard I would buy if I wanted something that feels fun, sounds good, and does not cost “custom keyboard hobby” money. It looks clean, feels surprisingly premium, and has enough features to make it useful for gaming, typing, and everyday desk use.

TL;DR: if you want a compact mechanical keyboard with a smooth typing feel, wireless options, RGB, a volume knob, and hot-swappable switches, the AULA F75 is a very easy keyboard to recommend.

Pros

ProsWhy I like it
Compact 75% layoutSaves desk space but still keeps arrow keys and function keys
Smooth typing feelPre-lubed switches make it feel better right away
Hot-swappable designYou can change switches later without buying a new keyboard
Tri-mode connectionWorks wired, Bluetooth, or 2.4GHz wireless
Volume knobSmall feature, but very useful every day
RGB lightingLooks good without being too much

Good valueFeels more expensive than it is

Cons

ConsWhy it may matter
No number padNot ideal if you work with numbers all day
Compact layout needs adjustmentTakes a little time if you are used to full-size keyboards
Software is not the main selling pointThe keyboard itself is better than the app experience

Personal review

What I like about the AULA F75 is that it feels like a keyboard made for people who want a nice typing experience without overthinking everything. You take it out, start typing, and it already feels good. No need to spend three weekends watching keyboard modding videos and pretending you understand every type of foam.

The 75% layout is probably my favorite part. It gives you more mouse space than a full-size keyboard, but you still keep the keys most people actually use. For gaming, that extra desk space is nice. For typing, it still feels practical.

The sound and feel are also better than expected. The keys feel smooth, the board does not feel cheap, and the gasket-mounted design gives it a softer typing feel. It has that satisfying mechanical keyboard vibe without sounding like you are building furniture during a Zoom call.

The volume knob is another small win. Once you get used to it, adjusting sound with keyboard shortcuts feels weirdly outdated.

Overall, the AULA F75 feels like a smart buy. It is compact, comfortable, good-looking, and feature-packed. If you want a mechanical keyboard that feels exciting but still practical, this is one I would seriously consider.
